CHICAGO — Nearly 20 St. Patrick High School’s oldest graduates welcomed new principal John Baffico during a traditional alumni lunch immediately following the final mass of the school year. As one of the few surviving all-male high schools in the Chicago Archdiocese, St. Patrick’s — which sends 96 percent of its graduates to college — is run by the Brothers of the Christian Schools, an order established in 1680. Several older alumni still credit their high school with preparing them to live full, productive lives and said they look forward to contributing to St. Patrick’s legacy for years to come. …
